ELECTROMECHANICAL
About 'ELECTRO MECHANICAL':
A sophisticated array of relays, switches, contacts, stepper units, bells, bumpers, .score reels and last not least one silver ball racing through it all. A lively mechanical orchestra that makes electro-mechanical pinball so irresistible.
A testament to not only the mechanical ingenuity of the 1960's and 1970's. But also to the designers who created an aesthetic that became synonymous with the Pinball machine.
Over time the vast majority of these machines were disposed of to make room for the next generation of arcade games.
During the next 12 weeks we will feature three machines from the 1960's each of which were found in disrepair and 'brought back from the dead' restored to their former glory to be enjoyed today as they originally were.
